At Friends of Nether Stowey School (FONSS), every event, donation and volunteer hour adds up to something bigger. The funds we raise go directly into making school life even better for the children — from essential resources to special experiences.

We are proud to continue the legacy of previous FONSS committees, whose hard work and dedication have laid strong foundations. Together, past and present, we’re building something amazing for our school community.

📚 What We’ve Funded

• New library books – giving children more choice and encouraging a love of reading
• Playground equipment – supporting active play and wellbeing
• Trips and visits – making memories and broadening children’s experiences
• Classroom resources – from art supplies to science materials

🎉 Recent Highlights

• We raised £10,940 for a fabulous new Activity Trail.
• We contributed £1,210 towards the children's vital swimming lessons/transport.
• We funded an invaluable Class IT Screen with £1780.
• We raised £5070 for an impressive set of Chrome Books. 
• We funded a fantastic whole school Dance Workshop with £590.
• We contributed £300 for a delicious Christmas Buffet for all the children.
